Sulphur Springs is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Lindale by a score of 49-38. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 124th, while the Eagles are ranked 364th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Kennedale didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Celina on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 63-57 win.

Sulphur Springs pushed their record up to 28-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Kennedale, their win bumped their record up to 18-15.
