If Breaux Bridge wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Teurlings Catholic, they should've done a better job of containing Carsyn Fontenot. The Rebels put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday for which the team can thank Fontenot, who had 16 digs and six aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Teurlings Catholic was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-8, 25-3.

The win made it two in a row for Teurlings Catholic and bumps their season record up to 15-8. As for Breaux Bridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Teurlings Catholic is set to face off against their familiar foe David Thibodaux at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Breaux Bridge will challenge rival Cecilia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
