After a string of three wins, Hillsboro's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thrall Tigers.

Hillsboro's offense was headlined by Charlee Mack and Addilynn Clayton, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Cloe Creech and her nine assists. Valeria Garcia controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hillsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Thrall, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillsboro will host Itasca at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thrall, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Taylor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
