Basketball Game Preview: Shelby Tigers vs. Hart Pirates

Shelby and Hart are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Shelby Tigers will challenge the Hart Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shelby is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Shelby was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-48 to Ravenna.

Meanwhile, everything went Hart's way against Muskegon Catholic Central on Friday as Hart made off with a 67-44 win. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Hart and bumps their season record up to 8-6. As for Shelby, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Shelby took a serious blow against Hart in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 66-29. Can Shelby avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
