Albert Louis-Jean switches from Miami to Boston College

Brockton (Mass.) wide receiver/defensive back changes decision after coaching shake-up.

Brockton (Mass.) football star Albert Louis-Jean has committed to Boston College, according to The Enterprise.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound safety/wide receiver earlier had dropped his commitment to the University of Miami when coach Randy Shannon was fired. Louis-Jean made 28 catches this year for 572 yards, a 20.43 average, and scored five touchdowns. He also made 18 solo and eight assisted tackles along with four interceptions.

Louis-Jean, who is ranked as one of the 25 best recruits in the east by the Associated Press, also considered Penn State, Notre Dame and Stanford. He is ranked No. 75 in Tom Lemming's Top 100 recruits of the 2011 class.
