Basketball Recap: Hart County's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Hart County had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 48-42 victory over the Oglethorpe County Patriots on Monday. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Patriots are ranked 302nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hart County's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Oglethorpe County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Hart County will finish 2024 at home by hosting Pendleton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oglethorpe County and Paulding County will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Paulding County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Oglethorpe County surely won't give up without a fight.
