Basketball Game Preview: Seagoville Dragons vs. Spruce Timberwolves

The Seagoville Dragons will challenge the Spruce Timberwolves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Friday, Seagoville came up short against West Mesquite and fell 45-34.

Meanwhile, Spruce played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 74-7 defeat at the hands of Wilson. The contest marked the Timberwolves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Spruce's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Seagoville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.

Seagoville strolled past Spruce in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 58-39. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Spruce's Tionnie Williams, who posted 24 points.
