Baseball Game Preview: Neshaminy Skins vs. Bensalem Fighting Owls

For the second straight game, Neshaminy will face off against Bensalem. Neshaminy will be playing in front of their home fans against Bensalem at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Neshaminy will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Bensalem on Wednesday. Neshaminy blew past Bensalem 13-2.

Matthew Gryn tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits.

On the hitting side, Chase Bonner was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Mike Sassano, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Neshaminy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bensalem only posted an OBP of .304.

Neshaminy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Bensalem, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
