Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Oconto Falls

Oconto Falls waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Clintonville Truckers by a score of 78-71. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 76-31 back in January.

Oconto Falls got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Evan Yuma out in front who went 7-for-13 en route to 19 points and seven boards. That's the most points Yuma has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jameson Beaman, who went 8-for-16 to rack up 19 points.

Oconto Falls was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in four consecutive matchups.

Oconto Falls' record now sits at 14-9. As for Clintonville, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-18.

Looking ahead, Oconto Falls is taking a road trip to challenge Little Chute at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clintonville, they will welcome Denmark at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
