It was a good run, but Middlesex unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 46-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Absegami Braves. The contest marked the Bluejays' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Middlesex's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Absegami, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Middlesex Bluejays challenge the J.P. Stevens Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Absegami, they will face off against Atlantic Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
