Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Paul VI

Paul VI never let their opponents score on Saturday. They came out on top against the South Lakes Seahawks by a score of 5-0. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Paul VI got a great performance from Carter Perdue as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Perdue has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Owen Peltier, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Peltier is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Will Tighe also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
