Baseball Game Preview: Cedarville Trojans vs. Brimley Bays

The Cedarville Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Brimley Bays at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cedarville hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Cedarville fell victim to Newberry and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 17-0 to the Indians.

Meanwhile, while it was Brimley who put the first runs on the board on Monday, it was Pickford who put up more. The Bays came up short against the Panthers, falling 16-4. The Bays haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Brimley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Cedarville, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-5.

Cedarville suffered a grim 16-0 defeat to Brimley when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
