Roberson flips to Auburn

Highly touted defensive back Marcus Roberson of Class 5A state champion St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale) announced Monday that he has changed his mind and now plans to sign Wednesday with Auburn.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Roberson, who is rated the No. 10 cornerback prospect in the nation by MaxPreps, had made a verbal commitment to Texas Tech two weeks ago before having a change of heart. He also was considering Florida, which he visited on Jan. 22.
