While Fairfax might've come up empty on Friday, Matthew Gonzalez wasn't going down without a fight. Gonzalez wasn't messing around, throwing for 247 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes, while also rushing for 30 yards. The game was his third straight with four or more passing touchdowns.

Gonzalez and Fairfax will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hamilton at 7:30 p.m. on October 3.
