Soccer Game Preview: McDonough vs. Stockbridge

The McDonough Warhawks will venture away from home to square off against the Stockbridge Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McDonough's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for McDonough's offense. They came up short against Union Grove on Friday, falling 9-0.

Meanwhile, Stockbridge lost 7-3 to Eagle's Landing on Friday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Stockbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for McDonough, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

McDonough suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to Stockbridge in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can McDonough avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
