Softball Game Preview: North Eugene Highlanders vs. Crater Comets

For the second straight game, North Eugene will face off against Crater. The Highlanders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Comets at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in North Eugene's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Crater has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

North Eugene's last matchup with Crater could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Highlanders came up short against the Comets, falling 7-1. The contest marked the Highlanders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

North Eugene's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Crater, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.
