Basketball Recap: Harrison Takes a Loss

If Harrison was feeling good fresh off their 74-37 takedown of Brooks County last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The match between the Harrison Hoyas and the Pebblebrook Falcons didn't end well, with the Harrison Hoyas falling 61-44. While losing is never fun, the Hoyas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Falcons are ranked 38th).

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Pebblebrook, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrison will head out to challenge Hillgrove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pebblebrook, they will face off against Osborne at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pebblebrook is facing Osborne at the right time seeing as Osborne is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
