Football Recap: Southeast Alamance's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Southeast Alamance strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Eastern Guilford Wildcats by a score of 33-21.

Tyler Jackson was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 215 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 52 yards and one score. Southeast Alamance also got a significant boost from DJ Callis, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 110 yards.

Eastern Guilford's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Tyler Whaley-Melvin, who gained 175 total yards and two touchdowns, and Javion Majette, who rushed for 58 yards and one TD.

Southeast Alamance's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Eastern Guilford, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Southeast Alamance will venture away from home to square off against Southern Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Stallions their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Eastern Guilford, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Reidsville at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th.
