Baseball Recap: Girard Yellowjackets vs. Corry Beavers
Girard won the last time they faced Corry and things went their way on Thursday too. The Yellowjackets walked away with a 5-2 win over the Beavers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellowjackets.
Joe Ferretti made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over 6.2 innings pitched. Ferretti was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Ryan St. Julien and Liam Dunfee did most of the damage at the plate: St. Julien went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Dunfee went 2-for-4 with three RBI.
