Football Recap: Kearsarge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kearsarge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newport Tigers. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Kearsarge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Newport, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kearsarge will host Epping/Newmarket at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Newport, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Somersworth at 2:00 p.m.
