Basketball Recap: Century Comes Up Short

Century was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 67-56 to the Northfield Raiders. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 97-94.

Century's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Northfield, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-8.

Century will face off against John Marshall at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. John Marshall knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 games -- so hopefully Century likes a good challenge. Northfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
