Baseball Game Preview: Cisco Loboes vs. Bangs Dragons

For the second straight game, Cisco will face off against Bangs. The Loboes will host the Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Bangs hit Cisco with a six-run second inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Loboes came up short against the Dragons, falling 12-2. The Loboes haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

For Bangs' part, Hunter Crowell made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Crowell was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Kaleb Biggs was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Jaxon Duncan was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Bangs is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Cisco, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8-2.
