Basketball Recap: Drew Comes Up Short

Drew lost against International back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Drew Dragons had to suffer through a 72-42 loss at the hands of the International Jaguars.

Drew's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kian Chan, who went 6 for 13 en route to 17 points. Rafa Ledesma was another key player, putting up six points and eight boards.

Drew's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-12. As for International, their record is now 8-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Drew will host Gateway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Drew is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.2 points per game this season. As for International, they will welcome San Francisco Waldorf at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
