Halifax County is a perfect 10-0 against Magna Vista since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Comets will welcome the Warriors at 5:00 p.m.

Halifax County is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Tunstall just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

Magna Vista came out on top against Floyd County on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Warriors skirted past the Buffaloes 8-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Magna Vista's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Halifax County, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.

Halifax County beat Magna Vista 6-2 in their previous meeting on April 1st. Do the Comets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
