Basketball Recap: 15 Straight Road Wins for Rancho

Rancho had won five straight games and Jakoi Lide did his part to make it six on Tuesday. The Rancho Rams blew past the Palo Verde Panthers 88-54 thanks in part to Lide, who went 13 for 30 on his way to 43 points. The matchup was his eighth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Jeffery Moreno, who posted two points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (two).

Rancho's win was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.7 points per game. As for Palo Verde, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5.

Rancho has already played their next game (against Desert Oasis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Palo Verde wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 51-48 defeat against Canyon Springs on the 16th.
