Volleyball Recap: St. Paul Comes Up Short

St. Paul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Riverton Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-12.

Kyndahl Venneman paced St. Paul's offense, picking up five kills. Venneman got some help from Ava Dent and her six assists. Venneman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Riverton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-3-1.

Coming up, St. Paul will face off against Jayhawk Linn on Tuesday. As for Riverton, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Humboldt on the 2nd.
