Basketball Recap: Red Bluff Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Red Bluff Spartans came up short against the Redding Christian Lions and fell 44-33.

Red Bluff's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Redding Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Bluff will square off against Chico at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chico knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Red Bluff likes a good challenge. Redding Christian has already played their next contest (against Los Molinos), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
