Basketball Recap: Cypress Creek Comes Up Short

Cypress Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Alonso Ravens. The Coyotes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ravens apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Cypress Creek's record now sits at 7-9. As for Alonso, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cypress Creek will venture away from home to square off against Gulf at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gulf is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.8 points per game this season. As for Alonso, they will head out on the road to take on Gaither at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
