Brayden Lawson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Marmaton Valley to the win on Friday. Lawson rushed for 146 yards and five touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 157 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks, forcing two fumbles, and making 15 total tackles.

Lawson might have his next game, a home matchup with St. Paul, circled on his calendar. Lawson threw for 346 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Indians duked it out back in October of 2023.
