Baseball Recap: Atlantic City Comes Up Short

Atlantic City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Middle Township Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 on Tuesday.

Atlantic City's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Middle Township, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Atlantic City will host Camden County Vo-Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Middle Township, they will welcome Wildwood Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
