Baseball Game Preview: Central Columbia Bluejays vs. Lewisburg Green Dragons

The Central Columbia Bluejays will head out to take on the Lewisburg Green Dragons at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither Central Columbia nor Lewisburg posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Central Columbia is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Mount Carmel. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bluejays have suffered since May 3, 2024.

Meanwhile, Lewisburg lost 11-2 to Danville on Friday. The Green Dragons haven't had much luck with the Ironmen recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Landen Wagner was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Lewisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Central Columbia, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
