Recap: Harris County Tigers vs. Northgate Vikings

The Harris County Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They fell to Northgate 63-58. While losing is never fun, Harris County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 454th, while Northgate is ranked 155th).

As a matter of fact, that's the most points Phillips has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Garrett, who scored eight points.

As for Northgate, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Harris County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Drew at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. As for Northgate, they will be playing at home against Creekside at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Creekside is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
