Volleyball Recap: Tustin Takes a Loss

Tustin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Troy Warriors.

Tustin wouldn't go down easily and took Troy into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20, 22-25, 21-25, 17-15.

Tustin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Troy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.

Tustin has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Sonora on the 28th. As for Troy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Orange on the 1st.
