Bandys had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They strolled past the St. Stephens Indians with points to spare, taking the game 29-14. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Indians are ranked 291st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brady Swett had an outrageously good game as he threw for 167 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown. Evan Turner was in the mix as well, providing Bandys with two touchdowns touchdowns.
