The Wildcats have beaten the Red Devils the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Red Devils has come to flipping the script.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Izayveon Moore and Bobby Thomas. Moore had a great game and rushed for 228 yards and five scores while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Thomas did his best for the losing side, rushing for 90 yards and one TD on only 12 carries.

Meanwhile, Lawrence Central faced Carmel in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Friday. The Bears fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 36-33. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lawrence North's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Lawrence Central, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Lawrence North was able to grind out a solid victory over Lawrence Central in their previous matchup back in August, winning 34-27. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Bears' Santana Allen, who threw for 149 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 65 yards on only eight carries. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Wildcats still be able to contain Allen? There's only one way to find out.
