Softball Recap: Deshler's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

Deshler's last matchup with Brooks could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Lions, falling 8-0. The shutout was out of character for the Tigers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

With the loss, Deshler broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-9. As for Brooks, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Deshler will head out on the road to challenge Russellville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Brooks, they will challenge Hatton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
