Softball Recap: Westminster Wolves vs. Forge Christian Fury
Westminster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell just short of the Forge Christian Fury by a score of 10-8. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 14-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2021.
Magaly Santacruz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Alexa Martinez was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
Westminster's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Forge Christian, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-5 record.

As for Forge Christian, they will welcome Arvada at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
