Soccer Recap: Sanderson Takes a Loss

Sanderson lost against Cardinal Gibbons back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Spartans lost 8-0 to the Crusaders. Sanderson have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sanderson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-2 record this season.

Sanderson didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Athens Drive on the 23rd. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they will be playing at home against Topsail at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Topsail will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.
