Basketball Recap: Joseph City Starts Season with Victory at Home + How To Watch

Joseph City gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They breezed past Dishchii'bikoh to the tune of 58-29. The win was familiar territory for Joseph City, who have now won four contests in a row dating back to last season.

Joseph City had a senior duo take command as Audrey Neill shot 60% from the field en route to 22 points in addition to eight steals and five boards and Amber Neill dropped a double-double with 20 points and 13 steals. Amber is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 13 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Raylee Fish, who posted four points along with nine rebounds and three steals.

Joseph City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive games dating back to last season.

Dishchii'bikoh's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Joseph City will welcome Music Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dishchii'bikoh, they will head out on the road to square off against Fort Thomas at 5:30 p.m. on December 2.
