Basketball Game Preview: Stafford Trojans vs. Norwich Eagles

Stafford hasn't had much luck against Norwich recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Stafford Trojans will get right back to it and host the Norwich Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Stafford will be strutting in after a win while Norwich will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Stafford was able to grind out a solid victory over Argonia, taking the game 50-39.

Meanwhile, Norwich ended up a good deal behind Cunningham on Friday and lost 58-39. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Stafford's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11. As for Norwich, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 11-2.

Things could have been worse for Stafford, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-40 loss to Norwich in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Stafford avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
