Football Game Preview: Cypress Park Tigers vs. Cypress Woods Wildcats + How To Watch

Cypress Park is 0-7 against Cypress Woods since October of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The Tigers will welcome the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. Cypress Park has given up an average of 56.8 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cypress Park's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Cypress Springs on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Panthers and fell 52-0. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 802nd, while the Panthers are ranked 182nd).

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 14-14 at halftime, Cypress Woods was not quite Cypress Ranch's equal in the second half on Friday. They took a 28-14 bruising from the Mustangs.

Cypress Park was taken down by Cypress Woods 63-6 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Wildcats' Darien Rogers, who threw for 317 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.2% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground.
