Baseball Recap: Tri-Valley Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

If Tri-Valley was feeling good fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Panther Valley on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southern Columbia Area Tigers on Wednesday.

Tri-Valley's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3. As for Southern Columbia Area, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Tri-Valley will challenge Blue Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Southern Columbia Area, they will face off against Bloomsburg at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
