Flathead Valley had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They breezed past the Foothills Community Christian Falcons to the tune of 41-13 on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Crusaders, who have now won eight games in a row dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Foothills Community Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lily Hass posted four points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Foothills Community Christian fell to 2-1.

Flathead Valley and Foothills Community Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Crusaders see the court they'll take on North Idaho Christian at 11:00 a.m. on December 30. As for Foothills Community Christian, their break will end when they face Non Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on December 2.
