East Chambers was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Hardin on Tuesday. The East Chambers Buccaneers put the hurt on the Hardin Hornets with a sharp 14-5 win. Considering the Buccaneers have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hailey Hjelle made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted over her last five matchups. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-5 with one home run and three RBI.
