Volleyball Recap: Wrangell Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Wrangell couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Sand Point Eagles/Lady Eagles on Friday, falling 3-0.

Wrangell's defeat dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Sand Point, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.

Wrangell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sand Point, they will challenge Susitna Valley at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
