Kiefer had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They won by a run and slipped past the Adair Warriors 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on five straight.

Sienna Renz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on eight hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Rhyan Counts was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Kiefer's win bumped their record up to 33-6. As for Adair, with the loss, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 30-11.

Kiefer will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair will be back at it again later today.
