Volleyball Recap: California Crosspoint Continues Home Dominance on Friday

California Crosspoint proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Contra Costa Christian Cougars 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Cougars on April 9th, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

California Crosspoint took Contra Costa Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-22, 23-25, 25-27, 15-12.

California Crosspoint pushed their record up to 16-8 with the victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Contra Costa Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-9.

California Crosspoint will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cougars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
