Delaware Valley recap December 3, 2013

Academy Park lost to Archbishop Wood 42-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jerry Lanier ran for 84 yards in the defeat.

Interboro made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,352 from 3,510. The improvement was the result of a 12-0 victory over Ridley last week.

The Buccaneers' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Pat Cashin threw for 53 yards and Shaun Douglas had 22 yards receiving. On the ground Eric Owens chipped in 95 yards. Naim Bey helped Interboro's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 15 yards.

Interboro's dynamic duo of Cashin and Douglas proved tough for the Raiders to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bey helped Interboro's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 15 yards.

Owens provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Steve Lennox's team defeated Ridley.

Academy Park's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brian Ingram has thrown for 951 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Jamar Dembry has 25 catches for 598 yards.

The Buccaneers featured an ironclad defense this week, and led Delaware Valley in points allowed with 0.
