Baseball Preview: Eisenhower Eagles vs. San Gorgonio Spartans
For the second straight game, Eisenhower will face off against San Gorgonio. The Eagles will square off against the Spartans at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
Eisenhower took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out San Gorgonio 4-3.
Mariano Nicasio was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Nicasio was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.
