Softball Recap: Brazosport Gets the Win

Brazosport won against Bay City last Tuesday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Brazosport came out on top against the Wharton Tigers by a score of 9-6. The victory continues a trend for the Exporters in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Eshanti Green, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Larissa Guardiola, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Brazosport always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
